Sheri Whitefeather is a national bestselling author. She pens a variety of romance novels and has earned prestigious awards. She has also written under the name Cherie Feather.

Her writing career began in 1999. Prior to that, she worked as a make-up artist and leather artisan. One of her first professional make-up jobs was at the Playboy Mansion for a photo shoot that featured Hugh Hefner. As a leather artisan, she painted jackets and guitar straps for a host of musicians, including legendary bad boys, Motley Crue, and country legend, Waylon Jennings.

Sheri lives in Southern California and enjoys ethnic dining, shopping in vintage stores, and visiting art galleries and museums. She has two grown children who are tribally enrolled members of the Muscogee Creek Nation.
