"This was an amazingly impassioned story. The anguish and conflict of both characters was heart wrenching. Yet at the same time, Ms. WhiteFeather interspersed the story with doses of humor that had me laughing out loud. I was delighted to read a book with a forty something hero and heroine. Each had their own issues involving age, and the author dealt with them sensitively. The hero’s disability added an additional facet to him. This too was handled with realism and compassion. It is quite apparent that the author did her homework regarding amputees. Cherokee Baby is a one sitting read that will keep you fully engrossed... readers will close this book with a big sigh and a warm and fuzzy feeling all over."
